Dr. Sharma Sinanan, D.D.S., M.Sc., F.R.C.D. (C) | Endodontist (retired)

Dr. Sharma Kenneth Sinanan is originally from Trinidad, West Indies. He attended Laurentian University and University of Western Ontario for his undergraduate degrees and University of British Columbia for his dental degree. He practiced as a general dentist in downtown Vancouver for 6 years and was very active in study clubs on endodontics, periodontics, and fixed prosthetics. He then was accepted to the post graduate program for endodontics at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Centre in Portland, Oregon.

Upon returning to Vancouver, he began his endodontic practice in downtown Vancouver and was appointed to the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC. Dr. Sinanan continued to teach, present continuing education courses for dentist’s, and lecture nationally and internationally for over 30 years before he decided to retire in Jan 2020, and spend more time with his family.
