City Centre Endodontics Study Club

What Makes our study club different?

Since establishing CCE in1980’s, members of the study club have been enjoying a variety of topics, the opportunity of treating patients one on one with endodontist supervision, and also socializing with the fellow members.

Unlike typical study clubs, our study club consists of a combination of theoretical presentations and hands-on clinical experience; i.e., in every session, you will have the opportunity of bringing your own patient and performing the treatment on them under the direct supervision of the Endodontist. To enhance this experience, we planned to provide microscope(s) and let you experience treating your patients using newer technologies available, and see the difference (if you wish to do so).

The emphasis of the lectures is on Endodontic diagnosis, access preparation, canal location, Instrumentation, obturation materials, and techniques. Also, emergency treatment and advantages of using microscope/CBCT will be discussed in detail.

American Association of Endodontists (AAE): AAE is a global resource for knowledge, research and education for the profession, members and the public.

Canadian Academy of Endodontics (CAE): CAE goal is to advance the art and science of endodontics by providing learning experiences through lectures, offering teachers of endodontics a forum for interaction, giving information and acting as a resource to dental governing bodies, and improving the health of the public.

International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT): IADT is a non-profit, public benefit professional organization whose mission is to promote optimal prevention, research, and treatment service in the field of traumatic dental injuries through interaction with dental and medical colleagues, the public, and interested parties in education, sports, industry and appropriate governmental agencies..

Dental Trauma Guide (DTG): DTG  covers treatment guidelines for primary and permanent teeth. DTG is produced in cooperation with the Resource Centre for Rare Oral Diseases and Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery at the University Hospital of Copenhagen.
